Hello Reader, When I slipped into your inbox last, I shared how the words are flowing again. Behind the scenes I've been writing and savoring, creating and dreaming, waiting and wondering about what God is up to. I still don't have answers, but the energy and hope is building. As one draft has led to another, I'm growing in confidence that the words are going to keep coming. Maybe not on a schedule. Definitely without a plan or promise . . . and that feels so, so good. So it seems fitting to celebrate this rebirth in my soul by releasing into the world my first post on Substack as I kick off the next trip around the sun!
You might be wondering, "Why Substack?" instead of publishing on the blog at Stableminded? That's a good question with an easy answer. Because it is old school. Just a girl and a place to share her thoughts. No website to manage. No tech to solve. No niche or brand to fit within. It's just me from the overflow. Coming home to that the girl who writes to figure things out. Welcoming back the young woman who shared her thoughts hoping someone else may be encouraged. Without the worry of what it will become. With the delight of learning how to lean into the unforced rhythms of grace . . . All the while, keeping company with God, Founder of StableMinded.us

Hello Reader, If you were able to listen to the last episode of the StableMinded Podcast, I was brutally honest about what I experienced when I finally stopped pushing through. By slowing down during my sabbatical to seek God for direction and to tend to my neglected heart and soul, I discovered how much my mind and body was...
