Trade those (failed) resolutions for a plan equipped with purpose!

Hello Reader,

How many of us start the new year off gung-ho? We set goals. We make promises. We tell ourselves: This is the year!

And then, real life shows up. We're sidelined, distracted, discouraged, and can't even remember our New Year's resolutions!

In this episode of the StableMinded Podcast, I'm inviting you to trade your resolutions for a plan equipped with purpose!

After 18 years of practicing this, Equipped: Plan Life with Purpose, I'm excited to inspire you by sharing how this framework that has become my “plumb line” for aligning my heart, soul, mind, and body with God's will for my life.

And, I'm super excited to introduce a Bible-based, self-paced, mini-course at the brand new course hub, StableMinded On Demand.

If you're wondering how to prioritize your life, invest your resources, find balance with healthy boundaries, and step into your calling, then this resource is for you.

It is not about doing more, but rather walking in grace and truth, pursuing God's purposes and yet surrendering to His plans.

Grace is knowing that all our plans ultimately will come under God’s purposes. If we make the wrong choice, God’s grace will cover it. If we make the right choice, but God takes us in a new direction…well, His grace is there, too.

Ephesians 2:8-10 The VOICE
For it is by God’s grace that you have been saved. You receive it through faith. It was not our plan or our effort. It is God’s gift, pure and simple. You didn’t earn it, not one of us did, so don’t go around bragging that you must have done something amazing.

Truth is God’s Word. It is our guide and map. It is our source of comfort and focus, especially when our plans are trumped by His plans. By digging into Scripture, we can excavate our hearts to make room for the lessons God desires to teach us. The Word will help us see our circumstances in a new light. When our plans don’t turn out how we hoped AND when our desires shift toward looking at life from an eternal perspective, we will slowly learn how to delight more so in the Lord’s purposes rather than our own hopes or dreams.

Romans 12:2 NLT
Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

With grace and truth as our pillars, we can begin to see what God is doing in our lives.

And from that vantage point, we'll gain clarity on what it means to become StableMinded and live life with purpose.
