Hello Reader, How is life in your part of the horse world? I'm having the most unexpected and amazing experience of enjoying riding Kodiak Jack through these frigid and frozen weeks that have filled this winter season! I know, what a crazy reality considering where we were just a year ago this time when I thought I'd be having to find Kody a new home, without me, because of all the things we were going through. If we were connected this time last year, you may have caught a glimpse of what I was experiencing in my Junk in Your Trunk series that came out with HorseClass just prior to the release of Finding Calm! I just rewatched all those videos, and I can't believe our growth, the fruit of perseverance, and God's grace. You may be wondering why go back and relieve the past? Well, I've been busy working behind the scenes creating something new for the horse world that very much has come out of the last few years of my personal experience and where I find myself today! And I'm super excited to finally share the news with you . . . introducing you to the brand new Liberated Equestrian Podcast & Patreon Community that you inspired!!! While there are wonderful horse communities, barn families, podcasts, and online groups out there led by remarkable horse people, in hearing your stories, coaching you through your challenges, and connecting in our groups together, I felt there was something I could bring forth with my experience as a mental health professional and second-season equestrian that is a bit different and hopefully, beneficial to you and others we've yet to meet!! The Liberated Equestrian is a Podcast and Patreon Community for horsewomen to experience Belonging, Breakthrough, and Becoming! The Liberated Equestrian is a place of belonging, where you will be heard as you become part of this herd. It's a place of connection. Finding your people. Feeling no longer isolated in a world of ever-changing opinions.
The Liberated Equestrian is about finding breakthrough as we rally around each other and learn how to grow through what we go through in our horsemanship and humanship.
The Liberated Equestrian is about becoming the best version of ourselves through understanding a trauma-informed and neuropsychological view of horsemanship and humanship. It is a place of learning, experimenting, and deciding the way forward, in freedom from fear, shame, or guilt and moving forward in confidence with competence!
Are you ready to become a Liberated Equestrian? Before I announce the Liberated Equestrian to the world, I wanted to extend you an offer to step instead and join me on this journey as the OG horsewomen who have inspired me to create this community! Hello Reader, Last week I shared with you about Quitter's Day, that time when most people give up on their New Year’s resolutions. It is usually sometime around the second or third Friday of January. The timing was interesting because the following day, I led a vision and goal-setting workshop at Concordia Stables. It was a fresh reminder that what feels natural for me to do can feel daunting for many people. Maybe that describes you? However, when I shared about time-frame orientation and...

Yes, this clinic is open to all horse enthusiasts! We're excited to teach you how to experience the heart of liberty to build your connection and confidence with horses! Hello Reader, I mastered it alright!!! It's been a long four years, and many of you have been on the journey with me, as I pursued a Master's in Clinical Counseling with a trauma concentration. All glory be to God for getting me across the finish line with the support of amazing family, friends, and people like you! If it wasn't for all the encouragement I received, I would have never gotten this far. I can't tell you how many times I've wanted to quit as the sacrifice was great emotionally,...
